Current production / shipping times

Production – I am still producing UndeadTeds at fairly typical pace, however I am having some stock issues with my suppliers (plushes and base production materials). Stock is prioritised for owed custom and Infect-a-Ted orders, so batches for the shop may appear less frequently.

I have now suspended new custom orders to ensure this doesn’t cause future issues and so I can continue to provide store stock.

Shipping – There has been a major slowdown in shipping times since late March. UK deliveries (1st class) are typically arriving 2-3 days after dispatch. International deliveries (standard shipping) are arriving up to 4 weeks after dispatch, possibly longer. Express couriers vary, but please allow up to 1 week after dispatch before enquiring.

I am seeing a lot of deliveries which have no tracking updates for several weeks. This appears to be normal and packages are still arriving (eventually!). I know this can be incredibly frustrating, but please rest assured that your package is safe and likely just caught in a massive backlog. Please only ask me to investigate if it has been more than 4 weeks without an update as I don’t have access to any extra tracking info and will have to request a formal investigation by the carrier.

I currently ship standard orders on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as my local post office has limited opening hours. Express orders are either collected directly from my home or I take them to a specific drop-off point within 24 hours of purchase.

Merchandise – All merchandise sales are currently suspended due to long lead and delivery times from my supplier.

General Covid-19 / Coronavirus Statement

I want to reassure you that UndeadTeds is continuing to trade – all outstanding orders will be fulfilled and I will still be releasing new batches into the shop as time allows.

I am very fortunate to be able to work from home, in my own dedicated workshop. This is not open to the public, so neither myself or my family are exposed to the regular comings and goings of other people and the environment is easily kept clean. I also don’t have any employees – the business consists solely of myself and my wife, Rebecca. For these reasons, if we are required to isolate ourselves further, the business should not be impacted too heavily. Any potential contamination risk to customers is minimal as good hygiene is always practiced when producing, handling and packing orders.

I’d really like you to know how much we appreciate your support, both in the past and going forward through these potentially difficult weeks & months. 

UndeadTeds is our baby and we’re incredibly grateful that it has been successful enough to provide for our family for the last 7 years. We would love for it to still be around for the next 7 years and beyond!
